1 Profit lock
Once you earn a set amount, TradeGuard requires you to withdraw a portion to prevent giving back your gains.
Trigger condition: when the net new profit in a wallet since the last alert reaches the Trigger profit amount, TradeGuard calculates how much to withdraw (net new profit × Withdraw share), sends a "Profit lock triggered" notification, and pins a "Profit lock · withdrawal pending" banner at the top of the overview with a countdown to the Confirm deadline.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enable | Off by default. |
| Trigger profit | The net new profit amount that triggers the rule. Default 50 USD, minimum 1. |
| Withdraw share | The percentage of net new profit you must withdraw. Default 50%, range 1–100. |
| Confirm deadline | How many minutes you have to confirm after the rule triggers. Default 30 min. If the deadline passes without confirmation, one violation is recorded and a "Withdrawal confirmation timed out" notification is sent. |
| Nag interval | This setting has no effect here. When unconfirmed, nagging follows the Profit not withdrawn interval defined in section 7 Nagging. |
| Sound | Whether an alert plays a sound when it appears — applies to both in-page pop-ups and system notifications from the extension. On by default. |
- After receiving the alert, withdraw the required amount to your own cold wallet or exchange.
- Open the overview and click "I have completed the withdrawal" on the Profit lock · withdrawal pending banner.
- If you do not want to withdraw this time, click "Skip this time (record a violation)" — you must confirm by clicking twice.
