What Happens During a Breaker

A breaker/rest state is triggered when your drawdown breaker, consecutive-loss, daily-loss, or trading-frequency limit is hit — or when you manually press the rest button on the hot-streak banner or the active-rest card.

  • Phone: A push notification is sent to your configured channel when a discipline-triggered breaker fires — for example, "Drawdown breaker triggered" — with the reason and the relevant value in the body.
  • Dashboard: A red banner appears at the top showing the reason and a countdown (or the end time if it runs until end of day).
  • Extension icon: A badge shows the minutes remaining — for example, "25m"; anything over 100 minutes shows "stop".
  • Desktop: While the extension is active, the breaker alert also appears as a system notification in the lower-right corner of your screen and plays the Alert sound once. Rests you trigger yourself (active rest or hot-streak sleep) do not send a push notification; the extension will instead show its own pop-up saying "Rest has started," with the reason and end time.
  • Trading sites: When you open a listed trading site, the extension redirects you to the "Hold on a moment" page. Out of the box it blocks GMGN, Axiom, fomo, DeBot, Binance, OKX, Bybit, and Bitget. You can add, edit, or remove sites in the "Blocked trading sites during breaker" setting under item 4 (Drawdown breaker) — one domain per line, for example axiom.trade; subdomains are blocked automatically. For newly added sites to be blocked, you must click "Allow blocking of newly added sites" on the extension settings page. For hot-streak sleep, see the Lock screen setting under item 3; for all other cases, see the Lock screen setting under item 4 — both are on by default.
  • Reminders: When the repeat-reminder feature in item 7 is enabled, you will be reminded at the Breaker minimized interval that you are still in a breaker.
  • End: The breaker is lifted automatically when the time is up, and a "Breaker lifted" notification is sent.

The "Hold on a moment" page displays "Breaker active — please don't trade," the time remaining, and the reason. You can:

  • Click "OK, close this page."
  • Click "I understand the risk, continue to the site (won't block again for 15 minutes)" to proceed to the site. Opening it again after 15 minutes will trigger the block again.
