Update by idWhen on, multiple push notifications for the same item keep only the latest one on your phone (upcoming, due, and each overdue reminder overwrite one another). When off, every notification is kept separately. On by default.

Encrypted push: When enabled, push notification content is encrypted and does not pass through the Bark server or Apple Push Notification service as plaintext.

  1. First, set up push encryption in the Bark app on your iPhone: choose an algorithm and set your key (CBC mode also requires an IV).
  2. Go back to the website, expand Encrypted push, and turn on Enable.
  3. Under Algorithm, select the same option you chose in the app: aes-128 / 192 / 256, cbc or ecb. Default is aes-256-cbc.
  4. Enter your Key: exactly 16 characters for aes-128, exactly 24 for aes-192, exactly 32 for aes-256.
  5. For CBC mode, also enter an IV that is exactly 16 characters; ECB does not require an IV.
  6. Save, then click Send test push.
