Paper Trading
Paper trading is built into the TradeGuard extension — no separate installation needed. It lets you practice buying, selling, adding to positions, reducing positions, and reviewing trades on GMGN pages using simulated funds. No wallet connection, no real money, completely free.
- Install the TradeGuard extension.
- Open GMGN (use the "Open GMGN" button on the Paper Trading page), set a simulated starting balance when prompted, and you're ready to start practicing.
- To view your positions, P&L calendar, and trade reviews: click the extension icon, then click "Paper Trading".
- Simulate buy, sell, sell by percentage, and one-click break-even directly on GMGN's Trenches card and token detail pages.
- Six independent simulated accounts, one per chain: Solana, BSC, Ethereum, Base, Robinhood Chain, and X Layer.
- Positions, P&L, and trade history, with your simulated entry and exit points marked on the price chart.
- P&L calendar, daily trade review notes, daily summary images, and CSV/JSON export and backup.
- Shortcuts Alt+Shift+Y to enable/disable paper trading on GMGN pages (can be changed in Chrome's extension shortcuts settings).
