Reminders & Notification Channels
Inbox: Did Each Alert Actually Arrive?
The Inbox keeps a record of every alert that was sent: which channels it was sent to, whether it arrived, and why it didn't if it failed. If you haven't set up any channels and the extension isn't online, alerts won't come through at all.
- The banner at the top — "Check this first: is the engine running?" — shows whether discipline checks, price polling, Reminders, and on-chain deposits are each currently running. If any of them have stopped, nothing new will appear in the feed from that moment on; the absence of activity doesn't mean everything is fine.
- The left panel shows counts by channel and lets you filter by: All, Failed, In Progress, Delivered, and Abandoned.
- The center panel is the alert feed. Click any entry to see its details on the right: the status of each channel, delivery time, number of attempts, when the next retry is scheduled, and the raw upstream message (with keys redacted).
- "Load earlier alerts" pages back through history. The number of days alerts are retained is shown on the page.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Delivered | This channel received the alert. |
| Delivered (some channels failed) | At least one channel received the alert. |
| Queued / Sending / Will retry | Still in progress. |
| Could not deliver | See the reason shown below: "This channel isn't fully configured" — fix it accordingly; "Temporary issue on the recipient's end" — rate limiting or timeout; "Issue on our end" — no action needed from you. |
| Canceled by you | You clicked "Mark as done," so the remaining alerts for this item were canceled. |
| Abandoned without attempting | For example, suppressed while Do Not Disturb was on. |
Each alert's detail panel has Acknowledge, Snooze N minutes, and Done. These only affect whether the alert is still counted as unread in the Inbox (the number shown on the bell icon in the top bar). Pressing Done or Snooze on a Reminders alert will also resolve that reminder item and stop any follow-up nudges; for discipline actions (confirming a withdrawal, lifting a circuit breaker), you still need to go to the overview to act.
