A simple take-profit rule for memecoins: lock part of every gain

Profit left in a trading wallet gets risked on the next trade. A profit-lock rule: when new profit hits a threshold, move a share out before a deadline.

A familiar memecoin story: weeks of good trades, and the account ends up back where it started. Usually no single trade was the problem. The profit simply never left the trading wallet, so every new trade put it at risk again.

The rule

  • Threshold: when new profit since your last withdrawal reaches an amount (say $50), the rule fires.
  • Share: move a percentage of that new profit (say 50%) out of the trading wallet.
  • Deadline: do it within a set time (say 30 minutes). Missing it counts as a broken rule.
  • Destination: a cold wallet or an exchange account, not the hot wallet you trade from.

The share does not need to be large. The point is that part of every gain leaves the table, so a bad streak cannot take all of it back.

Profit lock in TradeGuard

When a wallet's new profit reaches your trigger (default $50), TradeGuard computes the amount to withdraw (default 50%), sends an alert and pins a "withdrawal to confirm" banner with a countdown (default 30 minutes). You confirm once you have moved it, or skip it, which is logged as a broken rule.
